Top Communication Apps Performance in Austria Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top communication apps in Austria showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 11K in early January. Active users remained consistently high, ranging from approximately 6.3M to 6.4M throughout the quarter.

Snapchat experienced a peak in weekly revenue reaching $110K in early March, while downloads fluctuated between 6K and 8K weekly. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.4M to 1.3M by the end of March.

Telegram saw a moderate increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $18K in early March. Downloads remained stable, averaging 8K to 9K weekly, with active users peaking at 1.3M mid-quarter.

Messenger reported a slight increase in revenue, reaching $236 in the last week of March. Weekly downloads showed a decline from 6K to around 4K, while active users fluctuated between 900K and 1M.

Lastly, Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out showed steady weekly revenue around $13K to $14K, with downloads maintaining a consistent range of 5K to 6K. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at 322K in early February.
